Gianluca Bisol, Managing Director of Bisol, has been interviewed by the prestigious Russian magazine “Chief Executive Officer” (www.ceo.ru). This magazine represents a guide to the world of business for Russian top-managers proposing profiles of world leaders in economics and politics, explaining their success by analysing the instruments they use for their strategies and tactics. The magazine has a readership of over 56000 top-managers from the Russian Federation that manage large companies. As PR and marketing consultant for the eastern block market Christina Arutyunova explains, “the editor's interest in Bisol and its top-manager was not brought about by chance; the worldwide success of Prosecco and the growth of the Russian market has attracted the attention of many journalists”. The question that the editor poses is: Can the traditional instruments used by the wine sector work in these times pf globalisation and above all, crisis? Gianluca Bisol represent the new generation of top-manager in the world of wine, creating a direct dialogue with the final consumer through the maximum knowledge about the product. Eugeni Utkin, one of the most well known Russian journalists in the field of politics and economic, interviewed Mr Bisol to understand the secret to his success.
Antonio Bisol was a guest of the Regione Veneto in Argentina in an interesting cultural exchange regarding the production activities of the two countries: in fact Antonio Bisol, together with two other Prosecco producers, was invited by the Province of San Juan, as opinion leaders in the sector. The Argentinian wine producers involved in the project appreciated the protection and promotion strategies that have been adopted in the area of Prosecco: in particular, a strong interest was demonstrated for the creation, in Argentina, of a discipline model similar to that recently developed in Delimitation of Prosecco, to protect their most representatve red wines such as Malbec and Syrah. "During the guided tastings, Prosecco met with great success" commented Antonio Bisol. The cultural exchange was, furthermore, an important opportunity to uniderline the legal use of the term Prosecco, that, until recently has been misused even throughout South America.
Thanks to the efforts of Minister Luca Zaia, with the recognition of the DOCG for the two historic zones (Conegliano-Valdobbiadene and Asolo) and the DOC Prosecco for the 650 communes in the Veneto and Friuli, finally a clear classification of quality has been developed: the beginning of an important process of protection, that will certainly amplify the course of the legislation, and that will need to be formalised by the WTO.
The photo, taken by Bruno Carboni, shows Antonio Bisol, President of Bisol, with San Juan's Minister for Production and Economic Development, Raul Benitez.
