| Derived from Pinot Nero
grapes that are macerated at a low temperature
until the must has developed a decidedly pink
color. The grapes grow on hills at an altitude
of 285 meters (935 feet) and yields per hectare
are extremely limited. The color attenuates
during maturation lasting at least 30 months.
Zone: Province of Treviso
in the Veneto region.
Grapes: Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay
and Pinot Nero.
Color: Pink with violet shadings. The color
attenuates with aging. The perlage is fine,
abundant and constant.
Bouquet: Intense and delicate
scents of mature yeasts, ethereal and persistent.
Flavor: Full, rich, sapid,
harmonious, lightly bitterish, velvety and lively
at the same time.
The wine has 12.5° of alcohol and should
be served at 8° C. (46° F.).
Highly satisfying at all hours, the wine is
particularly adapted to consumption with appetizers
and at important meals since it matches game
as well as fish dishes.
