| Colmei is a Venetian dialectical
term meaning “small hills” or clusters
that form a hill. Altitude, exposure and the
richness of the soil favor the development of
sapidity and fine aromas. Premium grapes and
advanced techniques in the winery, like cold
maceration, permit production of a complex and
elegant wine.
Zone: Treviso province in
the region of the Veneto.
Grapes: Prosecco.
Color: Straw yellow rendered
brilliant by the minute perlage.
Bouquet: Scents of wildflowers
merge with those of fruit blossoms.
Flavor: Balanced and agreeably
fruity.
The wine has 11.5° of alcohol and should
be drunk in its youth. Serve at 9° C. (48°
F.) outside meals or with light meat dishes
and fish.
